1st Annual Spring Shindig Fundraiser

Memorial Day Weekend - May 27th - 30th

The Spring Shindig scheduled for Memorial Weekend has been canceled; however, the cattle sorting event will continue as planned.

Unfortunately, there were unforeseen factors that led to less participation for the Shindig than we anticipated. Since this was a major fundraiser for the club, we felt that trying to have the Shindig with the number of confirmed participants would have created a negative cash flow which would not be in the best interests of the club. All checks will be returned or shredded - your choice; Venmo and Zelle payments will be returned to those that used that service. Please call or text Marcia on 714-815-2121 as to your choice on the handling of your check.

If your cattle sorting fee was included with your payment for the Shindig, Gail will be contacting you about having a new check issued for the cattle sorting and returning your original check.

Here is the sorting schedule during the Memorial Weekend. If you haven't already let me know which days you would like to attend, please do so. Also, you can even invite a friend now! Thanks!

If camping, Friday and Saturday sorting is
$120 for members for both days, $140 Non-members

Friday 3:30 – 6:30
Might adjust to 3:00-6:00
$40 Members only  

Saturday Clinic/sorting practice: 9:00 – 12:00 & 1:00 – 3:00
$65 Member $75 Non-members

Sunday practice 9:00 – 11:00ish and Competition 12:30 - 3:00

Competition with awards through 3rd if 15 riders
$65 Member $75 Non-members

Activities in 2019

• Thursday night bring appetizers to share
• Continental Breakfast & coffee provided Friday, Saturday & Sunday 7:30-8:30am
  
• Friday & Saturday night potluck/bring your own meat to BBQ and a side dish to share
  
• Group rides or ride out on your own
  
• Raffle on Saturday night

If we do not get a Chair and Volunteers there will be no activities or meals provided (Committee needs to be in place by February 25) so we can set up pricing, activities and etc.
